Administration

The responsibility for the proper functioning of the M.Sc. in Robotics lies with the Department General Assembly, which is composed of the Chair of the Department, the members of the Department’s Teaching and Research Staff, representatives of the Laboratory Teaching Staff, Special Technical Laboratory Staff and students. The Department General Assembly is responsible for appointing the Director and teaching staff, designating the members of the Coordinating Committee and establishing, when necessary, advisory committees, examination committees and committees for the selection or evaluation of prospective postgraduate students, as well as for awarding postgraduate degrees.

The Coordinating Committee consists of the Program Director and four (4) members of the Department’s Teaching and Research Staff whose academic expertise is relevant to the field of the M.Sc. in Robotics. The Committee is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the Program.

The Program Director chairs the Coordinating Committee and submits recommendations to both the General Assembly and the Committee on matters realated to the effective operation of the Program.

Administrative support for the M.Sc. in Robotics is provided by a dedicated Postgraduate Studies Secretariat, operating within the Department’s Secretariat, which handles administrative matters related to the M.Sc in Robotics. Overall responsibility for its operation lies with the Department’s Secretary.
