General Characteristics

The M.Sc. in Robotics program provides advanced education in the theory and practice of robotic systems, as studied in research and applied in industry. The program has been offered via distance learning since 2023.

Applicant Categories – Admission Requirements

Applicants who hold a degree in a related field from a domestic university or from recognized equivalent institutions abroad, with their degree recognized by the Hellenic National Academic Recognition and Information Center (DOATAP), are eligible to apply. Also accepted are holders of a postgraduate specialization degree in a related field, even if their undergraduate degree is not directly related to Robotics. Indicative, but not exclusive, related fields include engineers specialized in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Networks, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, as well as graduates of Physical Sciences. Under certain conditions, graduates from Schools of Education with relevance to educational Robotics may also be admitted.

Final-year students may also apply provided they obtain their degree or complete their studies before classes begin, even if their graduation ceremony is pending (see details in the Program Regulations).

Candidate selection takes into account their specific qualifications as documented by the submitted application materials within the prescribed deadlines at the Postgraduate Program Secretariat.

Evaluation

Candidates who have submitted all required documents within the deadlines are evaluated by the selection committee according to the provisions described in the relevant article of the Program’s Regulations.

Tuition Fees and Applicable Discounts

Tuition fees are set at €2,400 for the entire duration of the program, applicable to both full-time and part-time students. Starting from the academic year 2017-2018, all exemptions provided by new legislation for financially disadvantaged students apply (see ministerial decision). Additionally, scholarships will be awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding academic performance.
